This is an EZ Vote state - you don't need to provide an excuse for voting early.

Vote Early in Person

Congressional Primary
Early Voting Begins: 4/6/2010
Early Voting Ends: 5/3/2010

You may vote absentee in person at either your circuit clerk's office or your local board of elections for the 30 days prior to the election (including the final weekend before the election in some counties). You don't need to provide an excuse for voting early in person.

Your local elections office location can be found near the top of this page. Please call ahead to verify office hours and to make sure that the office has ballots available.

Vote Early by Mail

You must submit an application for an absentee ballot to the circuit clerk or the board of elections (the address is at the top of this page). Your application must be received no later than 8 days before the election. Your voted ballot must be received by the circuit clerk or by the board of elections no later than the close of polls on election day.

You will need to provide a valid reason for voting early by mail.
