Simply put, the health care “reform” bill passed by the Senate (H.R. 3590) – and endorsed by President Obama – is completely unworkable, unaffordable and unsustainable. The Congressional Budget Office estimates the cost for the first 10 years of government-run health care at upwards of $1.2 TRILLION!

On top of that, provisions contained in H.R. 3590 are counterproductive and do not lower costs! In fact, your health care costs and insurance premiums will increase!

Additionally, passage of H.R. 3590 would result in the following:

You cannot keep the health care plan you have – as all plans will be subject to new mandates, requirements, regulations and oversight.
Your taxes will increase.
Medicare will be cut by $500 billion to pay for a new, expensive federal entitlement.

This measure also will not help employees during this time of economic hardship. Government-run health care isn’t worth losing American jobs, but that’s what will happen thanks to mandating coverage for employers and then taxing them to help pay for the program! In addition to jobs lost, many jobs will never be created because H.R. 3590 creates a huge incentive to NOT hire low-wage workers and NOT grow a business beyond 50 employees!

It’s not too late to for Congress to stop this poorly-constructed bill from becoming law. Everyone knows the U.S. health care system needs to be more efficient and affordable, but H.R. 3590 will only make matters worse!

Please urge your congressman to vote against the Senate-passed H.R. 3590. Let them know this bill is unacceptable and not positive reform.
